Science meets Creativity offers…

…safe spaces for pause and reflection in the form of Super-Vision and Reflection workshops

We offer Super-Vision groups for

In addition to this, we also offer:

What’s the difference?

Our closed Super-Vision groups consist of 4-6 coaches, leaders, or HR professionals. The group meets once a month (currently over Zoom) to learn, grow together, and support one another in a guided and safe environment. Once each group has been formed, they run for 6 months, with options to continue, pause, or end after this time. We start new groups regularly, so contact us about how to join or fill out our form below to register your interest.

Our taster sessions and reflection events welcome everyone; being part of a Super-Vision group is not a requirement for participation. Take a look at our events page to see what’s coming up next, or scroll down to find out more about these events.

As well as running open online sessions, we also work with several organisations and would be very happy to discuss any individual requirements you might have for groups and teams in your business. Please contact us for further details and we will be happy to talk through your needs.

All of our workshops and events currently take place online.

About: Group Super-Vision

Super-Vision: An untapped resource

We believe that Super-Vision is a much under-utilised resource for coaches, leaders, and HR professionals who work through relationships with clients and colleagues. Our goal is to make Super-Vision available to all such professionals. We use a variety of creative methods with psychological underpinnings to facilitate group and individual reflection and learning.

A safe space for professionals to grow

The Super-Vision we provide is a safe, confidential, reflective, creative space to pause in a restorative oasis supported by accredited supervisors who bring open heart, open mind and open will alongside empathy, psychological awareness, honesty and wisdom and a deep understanding of what it’s like to be a Coach, an HR professional and a Leader.

Testimonial from a group member:

“As a People Director in a highly pressured job during uncertain times, I am finding this support structure invaluable. I now have designated time and space to share the ups and downs of my professional life in a safe space, skilfully guided by two heavy weights. What makes this programme different to typical group coaching is that it promotes creative and inspirational ways of thinking and problem solving, nudging the brain out of tunnel vision created by our relentless routines. Highly recommended and necessary.”

About: Seasonal Reflection Workshops

We believe in taking a Pause to Reflect

Our seasonal reflection events use the changing seasons as a metaphor through which participants are encouraged to take stock, to reflect on where they’ve come from, and to consider what they can do in the present to prepare for the future.

Slow down and notice

Pausing and reflecting means deliberately making time to slow down and to notice. By reflecting on what we are Doing and how we are Being, we are more able to make informed choices about what is important to us.  The default and unconscious comes into the conscious and new choices emerge.

This manifests directly in our Seasonal Reflections, where we use the qualities and wisdom of each season to inspire our reflection. Each season we create an hour of spacious pause and reflective enquiry that is both personal, and by sharing some of our insights and observations, deepens, connects and inspires us all.

We hope you find this pause in your daily routine both restful and disruptive of your default settings and unconscious patterns.  That is what participants tell us they experience.

We invite you to join Liz and Doug each season for pause and reflection inspired by the images, metaphors and purpose of each season in turn.

We are running each Reflection twice per season, please join us on whichever date works best for you. Find the next one here.

Taster: ‘What is HR Super-Vision?’
A bald eagle circling in the air.

Many of us have been drawn towards an HR career because we want to help people develop, to solve problems, and to provide advice and support. However, to be fully available for others we need to take care of ourselves.

Supporting HR Professionals

These free online workshops are aimed at HR professionals and introduce the concept of HR Super-Vision. Doug and Liz explain how this might help you in your own HR practice. These are one-off sessions intended to introduce you to Super-Vision and provide a taster of the smaller Super-Vision groups (see above).
